Ingredients:

  • 500 ml strawberry-flavored apple sauce
  • 5 tsp gelatin powder, unflavored

Directions:

Step 1

Pour 500 ml strawberry-flavored apple sauce into a heat-proof bowl, then sprinkle 5 tsp gelatin powder over it. Whisk until well combined. Leave it for ten minutes. While waiting, prepare a pot of water and place it on the stove. Bring it to a simmer, then lower the heat to medium-low. Place the bowl of apple sauce over the pot, making sure that the bottom is not touching the water. Heat the mixture while stirring constantly to dissolve the gelatin. (Do not boil or overheat.) After the gelatin dissolved, remove it from the heat and whisk vigorously to slightly cool the mixture. Transfer to a mixing bowl and beat on high for 20 minutes.
