I found an amazing frosting recipe that can be used for  homemade cupcakes and cakes! It is a 2-ingredient chocolate frosting by Cuisine Crush that anyone can easily make at home. The frosting is luscious and creamy in taste, and I’m sure everyone will love it. Even with just two ingredients, you can make the perfect consistency for decorating your cupcakes.

To make this ganache chocolate frosting, all you need are room temperature chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream. It’s that simple! If you don’t want it to be sweet, you can use dark chocolate chips. It will work just fine. You can also use this to frost your cake, but make sure to take your cake out of the fridge 15 minutes before slicing the cake to allow it to soften.

  • one cup of semi-sweet chocolate or choco chips (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream

How to Make Chocolate Frosting

Step 1:

Boil water in a small pot and melt 1 cup of chocolate using the double boiler method. Keep on stirring until melted then turn off the flame.

Step 2:

Remove the bowl of melted chocolate, and add 1/2 cup of cream or milk. Stir until combined using a spatula, then using a whisk, mix it until smooth.

Step 3:

Cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

Step 4:

After 1 hours, remove from the fridge and take off the cling wrap. Beat the chocolate ganache on medium speed for about 3 to 4 minutes. It will become smooth, light, and double in volume.

Step 5:

Transfer the mixture to a piping bag with a 1 M open nossel tip attached, then pipe into your cupcakes. If your room temperature is hot, refrigerate your ganache for 10 minutes before piping. It will give you perfect peaks.
