It is easy to accumulate plastics, boxes, and containers at home. Daily groceries would probably result in a collection of these items. It is best practice to recycle them instead of throwing them into the trash. There are probably areas around your neighborhood where you can give these recyclable items and let them do the recycling for you. If you don’t have recycling facilities near you, try to repurpose them instead. Here are 15 ways to repurpose everyday items by Amy Good.

You can reuse them to clean and organize your house. We also practice some of these at home. Most containers are reused to organize tools and items in the garage. How to Repurpose Everyday Plastic Items

1 – Plastic meat containers and yogurt containers

Clean them thoroughly and dry them. Use cord covers to hang them in the cabinet. This is the best way to maximize vertical storage space.

2 – Big milk and vinegar jugs

Just cut the top off and use them as organizers for your fridge or pantry.

3 – Parmesan cheese and sesame containers

These containers come with flip-top lids. It’s the perfect container to hold brushed for water coloring.

You can also use them for cleaning powders.

4 – Glass bottles

To remove the labels from glass bottles, soak them in vinegar overnight and then gently scrub them with a soft brush. Use these bottles as cleaning sprays.

5 – Plastic caps

Many of the caps are standard-size and can fit onto other bottles.

6 – Tissue boxes

Cut it in half and use it as a storage for feminine hygiene items.

7 – Soybean paste container

Use it to store wooden and stainless steel clips or other items.

8 –  Empty milk and cracker boxes

Use these boxes as drawer organizers.
