Starting with the marinade, combine olive oil, dijon mustard, freshly squeezed lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper in a bowl. Stir together until well combined. Set aside. Next, grease the bottom of your air fryer basket with oil spray and place the salmon filets in a single layer. After this, generously glaze the marinade over the salmon filets.

Set the temperature of your air fryer to 400 degrees F and air fry them for ten to twenty minutes. (This depends on the type of air fryer you are using and the thickness of your salmon filets.) Cook them until they are flaky and just cooked through. (You can use an instant-read thermometer to double-check the doneness, it should read 145 degrees F.) After air frying, transfer them to a serving plate, and garnish with some fresh lemon zest. Lastly, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top. Your air fryer salmon is now ready, serve and enjoy!
