Are you looking for ways to clean dirty dishes faster without a dishwasher? Look no more, as Brittany Vasseur on Youtube got your back! These hacks are truly genius and effective, I must say. Learn the following hacks by watching the video below.
Soaking dishes can make your dishes dirtier and will become a breeding ground for bacteria. You should sort and pre-organize them instead to make the washing process faster.
If you have a sink full of dishes, wash the cleanest first to the dirtiest.
Make your dishwashing tools organize and accessible to you.
Don’t use regular sponges for washing dishes as it’s a breeding ground for bacteria. Go for silicone brushes or gloves that have the scrubber built on them instead.
It’s more sanitary to air dry than to use kitchen towels. These kitchen towels that you have can also have germs and bacteria on them. Set up air drying racks if you can.
Clean cast iron pans right away while it’s still warm. Run it under hot water, and do not use soap. You can also use kosher salt, and use it as an abrasive to clean off your cast iron pan.
Wash your knives with your hand and not in the dishwasher.
Clean your pots and pans as soon as you can. They will also last longer if you’re not going to wash them in the dishwasher.
Put the pot or pan with burnt food on the stove and fill it with water. Let it come to a boil, then add 2 tbsp baking soda. Give everything a good stir and let it simmer for a few minutes. Then, use a wooden spoon to gently scrape off those burnt bits from the bottom of the pan.
Don’t forget to clean your cleaning tools.
