Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of lean ground beef
  • 1 cup of chopped onions
  • 4 cups of diced potatoes
  • 1 cup of milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 oz of Provolone cheese (or any cheese you prefer)
  • 1 tsp of cornstarch (to thicken)
  • 1 cup of chopped green bell peppers (optional)

Directions:

Step 1

In an oven-safe pan, add the ground beef, chopped onions, and green bell peppers. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix them well to combine the ingredients, then cook them til the ground beef is browned and the onions are softened. (Don’t forget to drain the excess grease from the pan.) Once your ground beef is all browned, go ahead and add the diced potatoes. Mix them and cook for another 15 minutes with the lid on so the potatoes will soften.
