Treat yourself to some freshly made bite-sized donuts at home! This yummy dessert is one of those snacks you keep eating and don’t realize how many you ate until you only have that one piece left. That’s how good these 10-minute donut holes recipes by Quick Simple & Delicious are! I never tried making donuts before because I thought it was laborious. But when I saw this video on Youtube, I realized it is not complicated at all! You don’t even need to touch the mixture for this recipe. In a bowl, put the egg and sugar, then whisk. Next, combine the yogurt and milk. Mix well. Now put the lemon zest. Then sift the flour to break up any lumps. Whisk until you have a nice thick consistency.
On a plate, add sugar for coating. Now get your pan and add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom half of the donuts. Bring your pan to medium to low heat. Once the oil is hot, dip a teaspoon in the oil and start forming small balls with the help of another spoon, then place them in the pan. Cook until all sides of the donuts are golden brown. Once cooked, remove from the pan and place in a strainer to remove some of the oil. Continue with the remaining mixture.
Next, it’s time to cover them with granulated sugar.
