If you’re in the middle of shopping for furniture for your new home or are just simply tired of looking at the furniture you currently have, this is a brilliant way to save some money on a cool coffee table!
I just love the look of this vintage door turned coffee table and there’s hardly any building that you have to do to make this!
I was on Pinterest and noticed that there’s one of these for sale for $300! Maybe, after you’ve made one of these for your home, you can make some of these and sell them on Etsy too! There are so many people out there that aren’t into DIY projects and would prefer to just buy something…not me! I’d rather save the money and make it myself!
We all have some old stuff at home that we just can’t seem to part with for some reason. These things lay around and take up space in your room, basement or attic until the day you stumble upon them and decide to throw them away. And that’s the moment when the light bulb should come on to motivate you to find a new purpose for this old stuff. At least, this is what happens to me every time I want to get rid of something.
If you don’t happen to have an old door, check on Craigslist or your local thrift store. I’ve seen lots of doors on Craigslist.
Antique doors are repurposed for kitchen cabinetry, shelves and other house decoration. It’s so much fun giving an old item a new life and many times a better one!
