This is such a clever way to make the best out of things you would normally throw away! I was totally surprised when I saw the finished piece of art.

When I first started watching the tutorial, I thought she was making coasters and started to get disappointed because I’ve seen so many DIY coaster projects, but no, this was a long shot from a set of coasters!

Bubble wrap comes in handy for a lot of DIY projects and is good for more than sitting around and popping for fun.

Among some of the clever things people do with bubble wrap is using it for shape stamping with paint, some fill it with ribbon and fabric (taping the back off), Indian corn, pineapples and the list goes on and on!

But, what she does in the attached tutorial is really impressive and is at the top of my list so far. She uses straws, pearls, nail polish, beads and a gold string to put this cool piece of art together.

This is a great project to do with your kids over the holidays. It’s a lot of fun and will keep them off of their electronics for a couple of hours!

Watch how Kala makes this awesome art piece in her step by step tutorial so you can get started making this too!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
