This quilting scrap buster idea is so easy and practical. Teresa makes the best tutorials on the internet because she starts with a basic block that has a very simple presentation and shows you all the different ways the blocks can be arranged. I have so many ideas for these interesting, yet simple blocks, and jelly roll strips are definitely something there is no shortage of in my sewing room.

• Jelly roll strips (or any 1 1/2 inch strip)
• A sewing machine
• A quilter’s ruler
• A rotary cutter
• A cutting mat
• A pair of scissors
