This DIY farmhouse gnome with boots tutorial by Sarah Nenni-Daher on YouTube shows how to add cute detailed additions such as aprons and coffee mugs. It makes me laugh because gnomes are so adorable and there are little legs and boots added too. This entire no-sew gnome project is made using a hot glue gun. There are many steps to achieve this farmhouse gnome, but Sarah’s instructions are so clear and detailed. The gnomes are so adorable to dress up and accessorize. Plus, there is no pattern needed to make these farmhouse gnomes.
First, start off by making the gnome with a cup of rice. Then, fill the rest of the sock with polyfill, about halfway up the sock. Cut the top of the sock off and tie closed with twine. Slip the remaining portion of the sock over the top of the gnome body to make sure it fits.
Next, cut out a large beard shape from the light brown faux fur, and then cut out a smaller piece as the same one as before. Continue to watch Sarah Nenni-Daher tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.

Overall, I think this is an interesting way to make a gnome out of a sock. There’s no need for sewing, and it’s a quick and easy project that is inexpensive.
