The pattern is very basic, but the quilt looks very ornate and beautiful. Teresa Down Under is one of my very favorite quilting aficionados on YouTube because she is an absolute expert at cutting and piecing together. On Teresa’s Instagram, there are countless short video tutorials where she makes a few simple cuts and arranges the patterns in so many different ways. She even shows many fully made quilts with the same cuts, so you can make the arrangement decision with the big picture in mind. Teresa is a wonderful quilt teacher and I used many of her tutorials when I was first starting out as a beginner quilter.
