She Loves Gossip Girl And Was Inspired By The Sophisticated Piece Of Wall Art In The Series (Watch!)

When it comes to Gossip Girl, I am not embarrassed to admit that I know a bit too much about the show, and anyone who’s a fan knows about the top-notch art collection shown in Gossip Girl’s various Upper East-side apartments.

It serves as a perfectly chic backdrop to the stylish characters and money-drenched drama—it’s always somewhere in the scene. It’s black+white and gorgeous, so clearly, I wanted it in our peachy-glam guest room.

As an art enthusiast, lacking an art collector’s budget, my only options to own this quintessential piece were to either purchase a canvas version or make my own. Everybody that knows me, knows I like a challenge, so off to the drawing board I went. This looks a lot harder than it was so I’ve included a tutorial with a step-by-step plan if you’re interested in making your own.

I was so enamored by the classy upscale decor and outfits they wore in Gossip Girl! I felt like crying when I watched the end of the series!

When I made this for my guest bedroom, I decorated the bed with a black and white striped comforter and some colorful pillow shams, along side some black and white striped ones, adding a classy looking leopard print throw. I must say that it’s one of my favorite rooms in my house!

I simply love how chic and simple this looks in my guest room. It’s contemporary and brightens up your space in style. It certainly gives a room a haute look!

When browsing Pinterest I noticed that art.com has this sign on sale for $472! Now why would we pay that when us DIY’ers can make this ourself…with little effort?
