Ok, guys…I flipped over this DIY tutorial, and I know at least some of you will do the same! I can’t even believe how real this paper turquoise looks! l happen to love turquoise and have many beautiful pieces, but as far as I’m concerned, you can never have too much turquoise! Nobody will ever know the difference except you and I!

Make beautiful paper turquoise from recycled newspaper and a little paint! You’ll be surprised at how easy and CHEAP this is…my kind of DIY project!

I made up a bunch of these fabricated “stones” so I could make jewelry out of them for gifts. I’ve given these to my friends who have had birthdays and they were beyond shocked to find out that I made them and out of newspaper and glue! I just love to see the looks on peoples faces when they find out what these are made of! It’s well worth it to witness their astonishment!

I plan on doing some of these for the upcoming Christmas season! I have a lot of women in my family, so they will definitely be receiving some of these pieces of jewelry, along with a couple of other DIY crafts I’ve made. Birthdays and Christmas are so much more fun since I am a big DIYer! It seems to mean a lot more to people to receive handcrafted gifts.

It’s so cool to have this readily at your fingertips because if you have a special occasion to go to, you can just whip out a great necklace, bracelet and/or ring a couple of nights beforehand! Talk about a savings…this is fabulous!
