Are you looking for some clever outside planter ideas?  This idea is awesome!  I adore anything that involves utilizing what nature has already given us!  I think this is brilliant and plan to put these all over my property since I have some trees that needed to be chopped down!   Tree stumps can be annoying eyesores.  Recycling tree stumps and decorating them with flowers offer a creative way to remove stumps naturally and effortlessly to keep gardens looking beautiful.

I asked my Dad to do the cutting with his chain saw…I didn’t think I should be turned loose with one!  The last project Dad helped me with involved cutting out a planter in a long wood log.  I get so excited about having all these fabulous planters.  They really make my yard look beautiful and unusually unique.  My friends and family just love to come over and grill out.  My beautiful landscaping is very alluring.  My yard looks like a haven!  I’ve always loved flowers…they make me so happy!

In the tutorial, he uses a chain saw to cut out the square in the wood to use as the planter.  Watch the video to see exactly how he does this!
