If you haven’t made this fabulous spread, you seriously don’t know what you’re missing. My grandmother used to make this when I was a little girl, but I can’t remember if I ate it or not.

Then I was re-introduced to this when a friend gave me a jar of it. When I finished it, I was hooked and had to have more. I went in search to find out how to make it and that’s when I found this tutorial!

This is some of the best stuff ever and it’s not only great on toast, but is delicious on peanut butter as a sandwich!

I have been doing a lot of experimenting with my new Vitamix blender lately.  I absolutely love my blender!  One of the recipes that I made was apple butter.  Of course you don’t need a Vitamix or other high powered blender to make apple butter, but it does allow you to skip a step and save a little time.

Apple butter makes a wonderful gift to put in a housewarming gift basket or to give as Christmas gifts, but be prepared to provide the recipe too…if you don’t, the people you give it to will be pestering you for it!

Here is an easy peasy apple butter recipe. I love a thick and rich apple butter and this lady, with Rainbow Gardens, will show you how to make it.
